These fittings are mill-duty steel fabrications for dry bulk material handling: spouting, valves, slide gates, adjustable spout ends, and industrial ductwork for air and dust systems. Construction uses laser cutting, high-definition plasma, computerized rolling, automatic seam welding, press brakes, and stamping so parts match the spout and gate patterns used throughout the grain industry.

Finish: Primed gray (Sherwin-Williams shop-coat primer) carbon steel.
Air blast gate / damper. Air-handling shut-off, not a grain gate. Slim blast gates are only 5/8" tall. Round dampers are offered in 14/12/10 ga. Use in dust duct at ā„4,000 FPM design velocity. A 12" damper ships roughly 16" Ć 16" Ć 6".
Capacities assume clean, dry whole grain at 40Ā° or steeper. Wet corn should be spouted at 45Ā° minimum. Lining and fittings reduce capacity. Use these figures as planning guidelines and confirm the selection for your application before you order.
