Nolin Milling's Dust Control Loadout Socks attach directly to your loadout spout and extend it below the rim of the receiving truck, wagon, or vessel — dramatically reducing free-fall distance and containing airborne dust at the point of transfer.

Why Use a Dust Control Loadout Sock?
Grain receiving and loadout account for the majority of dust generated at grain facilities. Industry best practice recommends extending spouts at least 6 inches below the sides of the receiving vessel to minimize free-fall and reduce dust generation. These socks make that compliance simple and cost-effective.

Dust-control load-out sock. Flexible discharge sock that contains dust at truck/rail load-out. Replacement socks are sold separately from the hoop/frame. Size to the load-out spout OD. A complete 12" assembly typically ships in a 24" × 16" × 16" carton.
Construction. Laser-cut and plasma-cut carbon, galvanized, or 304 stainless from 14 ga through 1/4" plate. Seams welded; flanges punched to the standard patterns used on this product family. Custom hole layouts are available. Typical capacity guidelines use ~70 BPH per square inch of interior area for 8" and larger spouts on clean corn, soybeans, or wheat at 40° or greater. Target grain velocity under 1,750 FPM to limit kernel damage and premature wear .
Available option families include diameter/size (commonly 4"–24", some gates to 36"), gauge (14, 12, 10, 7 ga, 1/4" wall), lining (none, 7 ga AR, 1/4" AR, blue urethane, orange urethane, ceramic-chip urethane, ceramic tile), and finish (primed gray, galvanized, stainless).
Capacities assume clean, dry whole grain at 40° or steeper. Wet corn should be spouted at 45° minimum. Lining and fittings reduce capacity. Use these figures as planning guidelines and confirm the selection for your application before you order.
